What we collect

When you create an account or place an order with Northwoods Co. we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Shipping and billing addresses
• Order history and items purchased
• Basic analytics about your visit (pages viewed, approximate location from your IP, device type)

We do not store full credit card numbers. Payment details are handled directly by our payment processor (see below).

How we use it

• To process and ship your orders
• To send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, password resets)
• To respond to your questions or support requests
• To send occasional product updates, only if you have opted in
• To improve the site and detect fraud or abuse

Third parties we share with

We share the minimum data needed with a small number of vetted service providers so we can run the business:

• Stripe — processes payments. Stripe receives your billing details and payment method; we receive only confirmation and the last four digits of the card.
• Resend — sends transactional and (opt-in) marketing emails on our behalf.
• USPS and related carriers — receives shipping addresses to deliver your order.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies (for example, to keep you logged in and to remember your cart). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Logged-in customers can request deletion from Account › Delete account, or email us and we'll do it manually within 30 days. Note that we may be required by law to retain some order records for tax purposes.

Children

Our products and site are intended for customers 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
